Man this Olympic sailing is hard work, I guess it should be or everyone would have a collection of gold medals. Today was a classic training day, up at 8, out the door for the gym at 9 for a hard strength session. Max squats, weighted lunges, inverted rows and one armed bench press were a few of the tough ones today, all with max weight all to failure. Went for a training sail today, great to get back on the water but difficult to keep the focus while we still suffer from the effects of jet lag. Big news of the day is that we put the first batch of names on our boat. For those of you on board zoom into the photo and check out your name, thanks so much for helping us out.
Looking forward to a good training day tomorrow and hopefully some practice races so we can see the results of all the our hard training.
Stay tuned,

As you know by Tyler's recent guest blog and tweets we are on our way back to Spain. I thought I'd change things up and post a selection of pictures from our training sessions in Cadiz highlighting life off the boat.
Stay tuned as we will be putting the first round of names on our boat very shortly!

Holland is all set for soccer and has been introduced to nail polish. Not something dads want but hear it but... Read more …

I guess today you could say we were very kinky as both Tyler and I were sailing jet lagged. It felt like there was fog in my head all day, things weren't processing that fast and frequently we were a step behind. I found out later from our English training partners that they've come to expect this from us on day 1 as it happens every time. Read more …
